seafood risotto ($27.00): quite a strong tomato and seafood taste and was v good! they were p generous w the seafood too
beef short rib pasta ($27.00): vv flavourful sauce with super tender beef yumz
sauteed prawn salad ($15.00): this was DELICIOUS. idk what dressing they used but it reminded me of sushi. rly didn’t expect to be so impressed by their salad!
breaded oysters ($14.00): i felt that there was too much batter but the taste was p good
was a good meal as always! they are quite pricey but thankfully they’re on both entertainer and burpple. this place has become one of my family’s go-to spots!
Lovely little neighbourhood cafe … came in for lunch and had a great salad and the wagyu hamburger which I split with a friend and it was more than enough food. Loved the mango drink too! Definitely worth the stop if you are in the area.
Recommended: Duck confit hash, deep fried baby squid skewer, roasted vegetable salad, BBQ baby pork ribs, all pastas (they are handmade and aldente).
A delightful find in the east of Singapore. A quaint eatery nested in a quiet private housing estate of Kembangan.
Food is thoughtfully prepared with finesse. Pasta was aldente, fried dishes were crispy and not oily, and meats were fresh and perfectly seasoned. Pork ribs were so tender they slipped off the bones.
Highly recommended for gatherings and family dinners. May be a bit noisy for romantic dates though 😉
Service was impeccable. We were well taken care of despite the busyness.
Corkage is $25 per bottle.
Really a great experience dining here. The service staff was really great. Didn't know need to reserve a table but she manage to find a table for our family rather quickly. The 3 dishes we ordered were great. Quality was good and portion was large. Overall a place to go to again :)
A gem in the quiet neighborhood. Limited parking lots in front of the shop but should be sufficient on a weekend. Squid ink bone barrow was alright. I was expecting more flavor. Duck confit pasta was rich in flavor. White - crab meat pasta was excellent.
This place is tucked in a quiet area in the middle of private houses. We wouldn't have known about this place if not for our friends who wanted to try it out after hearing that their pasta is fantastic.
We ordered the truffle konbu fries as a starter to share, and duck confit tagliatelle, bacon cream spinach spaghetti, and our friends ordered the frutti di mare and the angus ribeye steak.
All the pasta were fantastic! Definitely lived up to their reputation. I'd honestly say the pasta they serve is one of the top 3 for me.
The steak, however, was a huge disappointment for my friend. It wasn't cooked well, and the cut didn't taste or look like ribeye. (We did tell our friend to order the pasta instead because that's what this place is known for)
Got to know about this restaurant from Burpple. The restaurant is located a distance away from Kembangan MRT station, which could be a little unbearable under the SG weather. Location is inconvenient unless you have a car.
We reserved a seat for lunch on a Sunday. Service staff was not very welcoming. The restaurant was not crowded as we were early for lunch (before 12pm), but no one approached us to offer some help/guidance when we entered the restaurant. We had to approach the staff who was just standing by the counter to inform him that we have a reservation before he showed us to our seats.
We ordered Duck Confit Tagliatelle, spicy garlic prawn pasta, squid ink pasta, pan seared salmon and truffle kombu fries. The fries were one of the best that I have tasted so far. The salmon looked deepfried instead of pan seared, and was a bit dry. However, the mashed potato and cauliflower sides were tasty. The pastas were nice, but not impressive. Overall, the food were satisfactorily nice, but I would probably not travel here again if there is no burpple 1 for 1.
Lovely food in a secluded corner. Very crowded. Reservations recommended if you plan to come.
It is a cosy little restaurant. Must have is the handmade pastas. Not a fan of their apple crumble as it came in a. Deconstructed form with yogurt as the base. It's a personal preference though😊
